NBA GAME RIGGING ARRESTS
Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier were arrested on Thursday, October 23, 2025, as part of a sweeping federal investigation into illegal sports betting and rigged poker games linked to organized crime.
The FBI and U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York announced the arrests, which are connected to two major indictments involving over 30 defendants, including former NBA player Damon Jones. The NBA has placed both Billups and Rozier on immediate leave from their teams.
Sports Betting Conspiracy Indictment
Terry Rozier is charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The indictment alleges Rozier participated in an insider sports betting scheme using nonpublic NBA information between March 2023 and March 2024, involving games featuring the Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic, Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Toronto Raptors.
In three of the seven games, players allegedly intentionally removed themselves from contests to benefit gamblers' bets.
The scheme involved defendants using private information about NBA players and teams to place fraudulent bets.
Rigged Poker Games Indictment
Chauncey Billups is charged with wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy related to a nationwide scheme to rig underground poker games.
The poker games, allegedly backed by the Bonanno, Gambino, and Genovese crime families, used high-tech cheating devices such as poker chip tray analyzers, tampered shuffling machines, special glasses or contact lenses to read pre-marked cards, and an x-ray table to view cards face down.
Victims, referred to as "fish," were lured by the chance to play alongside professional athletes, known as "face cards," who were all part of the scam.
The operation reportedly stole millions of dollars from victims and created a financial pipeline for organized crime.
Additional Allegations and Individuals
Former NBA player and assistant coach Damon Jones is charged in both the sports betting and poker game cases.
Jones is accused of leaking nonpublic injury information about Los Angeles Lakers players LeBron James and Anthony Davis to gamblers before games.
In February 2023, Jones allegedly texted a co-conspirator to place a large bet on the Milwaukee Bucks before James’s injury status was public, which led to a Bucks victory.
Jones also allegedly provided information about a Lakers player (identified as Player 4) before a January 15, 2024, game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, resulting in a $100,000 bet and a $2,500 payment.
The investigation, dubbed Operation Nothing But Bet, is described as one of the most brazen sports corruption schemes since the legalization of online sports betting.
Why is it important to reveal this corruption? Because now the FBI is going after the Mafia and Entertainment industries! They are a big part of the stranglehold on the every day person! And this move is so bold and daring that no one would ever think of going after them! This is a huge enterprise! BUT, what if it is something bigger? What if this is a way to signal to the gamblers, the risk of gambling? And...aren't professional sports rigged games a big part of child trafficking operations? Did Kash Patel just put everyone in this criminal enterprise on notice?
The importance of going Digital! Cashless society? Will gambling end? To some, it is a frivolous expense that many people cannot even afford.
With all the changes to our financial system coming, will gambling eventually be illegal. I am sure I will get pushback on this, but aren't there better ways to invest money?

BINANCE FOUNDER PARDONED
Is this why President Trump just pardoned the founder of Binance? Why is this relevant, because if President Trump needs all hands on deck for the new financial system, will this founder reveal how to integrate XRP or other approved crypto for transactions? Will the current systems be able to handle all of the worldwide transactions? Big Banks are beginning to adopt XRP and Crypto, but as of today, they haven't rolled out anything official. Will big banks be irrelevant?
The many questions are, how will wallets work for using XRP for buying everyday necessities such as food, gas, supplies, etc?
Is it similar to ApplePay? Heck many don't even know how to use Apple pay.

Zhao served his sentence and jail time and then gets pardoned. President Trump made sure he served his time before the pardon. Does Zhao need to be criminally free to partake in other activities? What is Zhao testifies before a committee, he is compelled to answer or his pardon may get revoked.
President Trump won the Gavin appeal and can now Federalize California National Guard!
